About Alexander Cardinale

Alexander Cardinale is a California native, and was raised on the central coast in Monterey. He began playing the violin from as early as age four, inspired by his upbringing around the classical radio station his mother managed in Monterey, KBOQ. His father was an acoustic guitar player, and inevitably Alexander made the transition from violin to guitar at the age of 13 years.

He now lives in Los Angeles where he works as a professional singer/songwriter, producer and actor. He also owns his own recording studio (Xandermusic Studios) located in North Hollywood. There, he and his production partner Morgan Taylor Reid (Morgan Taylor Music) produce and record music for film, television and commercials.

Alexander has begun to build a sizable following. He has also been a finalist in the national and international competitions Acoustic Live, The UK Songwriting Contest and the prestigious International Songwriting Competition (ISC).

Today, Alexander Cardinale continues to perform around Los Angeles and across the country, establishing his position as an emotionally revealing and talented new artist. His latest EP was produced at Xandermusic Studios by Morgan Taylor Reid and mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound in New York City.

He has been compared to Coldplay, Keane, The Killers and John Mayer. In the current renaissance of independent music, Alexander Cardinale hopes to stand out with his dense, contagious melodies and honest, poetic lyricism.
