My name is Ian, I am 15 and I am from New Orleans Louisiana. As a child I was very much interested in music. In the first grade my parents purchased me a violin and thats when it all started. I took violin lessons at Audubon Montessiori school for about 2 and a half years. After wards I sort of abandoned the violin. In the third grade I picked up the trumpet and I thought It was pretty cool so I started taking lessons, and I never really lost interest in it. I have played the trumpet for over 4 years. Twords the 6th grade I chose to pick up a guitar and sort of play around on it. Well, that playing around with the guitar led me to love the guitar very much. I started taking lessons when I first got a guitar of my own, but then as time went by I faded out of lessons, and I started to become self tought. I dont really like lessons that much. I have played the guitar for about 3 and a half years to four years. Back then I was really curious about musical instruments, so i chose to invest in a bass guitar. The first bass guitar i bought was a 1980's sparkaly gold bass, I treated that bass like it was my own baby. and i have the same love for the bass just like my guitar and trumpet. In the seventh grade (2007) I started a band with a few of my friends called "pumpkinhead"(the band name has also been changed from "strike-slip", "weenie genie", and "lotion". The band alltogether lasted till mardi gras season in 2010. After the band split i have been making my own recordings and have been jamming with people, and i have been practcing daily. check out my songs. the song "Atmosphere" was made like around febuary of 2010. It talks about how people reject other people because there different, and how people are too picky and they think everything should be perfect. The project that isnt finished was made really early this year and i just found it, and i am now working on it. The song "I like turtles" is a song about my favorite youtube video..... the one with the kid, that likes turtles.. haha the song doesnt really mean anything. and the song "For you" Is a song about a loved one of mine. I made it myself, (guitar and bass), and I re-recorded it and it still needs work, there are a few flaws about it. but i find it exceptible. those are the song i have so far on my acount.
