About Kaitee Bailey

Born as Kaitlyn Rosemarie Bailey, but everyone calls me Kaitee, in a little town in Georgia. I am currently 16 and have been singing pretty much my whole life. My dream is to be an entertainer whether it be singing country music, acting or modeling. Just a small town girl trying to get her foot in the door. I have worked my local market since I was 11 years of age. I first started doing singing contest with my school at districts and received very high ratings and medals. In 2006, I was 13 and I auditioned for the lead role of Gabriella Montez for my community theatre's production of High School Musical. I received the leading role and we preformed the show for 4 days in July of 2006. In 2007 I auditioned again for the leading role in our community theatre for Christina Jenkins in Phantom of the Country Opera. I again received the leading role and the show was performed for 3 days in June of 07. I also am a member of my High School Chorus and preform every year with our annual showcase. I have won two talent contest just last year and they were Female vocal winner for the Bowling Green Fair in Missouri and won the title of Female vocalist in Springfield at the state fair. After winning the state fair competition I went to audition for AMTC (Actors, Models and Talent for Christ) in August of 2009. I received a call back the following day and started my classes. In January of 2010 I went to compete at the convention that was held at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando Florida. It was an amazing trip with lots of competitions, seminars, workshops and plenty of knowledge to gain along the way. I competed in Film Monolgue, Singing, Creative Runway and Photography. I was a finalist in the overal teen singing competition and was very excited about that. I talked with many agents while at the convention and I received a call back from an agent that I was really hoping to talk to. We sat down in a one on one interview and things went really well in the meeting. Overall the convention went great and I was so honored to be able to be a part of such a wonderful organization. Now that I am an AMTC graduate I will keep persuing my dream and am trying to get my name out there in the market. I have created my very first demo called "The Beginning" and it is just a collection of songs that I love. I am currently working on song writing and have already completed one and I am working on a few others. I have decided to also learn to play the guitar and as I say better late than never right? I plan on auditioning for The Nashville Star or American Idol this year and that will be in just a few months so wish me luck. :) Last but not least I give God all the credit for giving me the opportunites he has bestowed upon me and thank him everyday for my talent and I am ready for the amazing ride that I hope will be in the near future.
