Renaissance is a singer/songwriter, writer and poet from Los Angeles, Ca with a passion for music and storytelling. Very shy growing up she sang in the church choir, not taking the lead but doing her part singing in the background until one day her father, a bassist, saxophonist and organist pushed her to sing a lead song. Renaissance was not aware of the gift God had given her until the third grade when she sang "This Little Light of Mine" for show and tell. When she was finished her teacher asked her to sing again and this time with the whole class joined in. When class was over peers crowded around Renaissance and asked her to sing again and at that moment, she knew there was something special about her.
