I am very interested in a marketing/PR/administrative based position in the music industry. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Advertising/Public Relations with a minor in Marketing from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. I am a transplant to Los Angeles (since September 09) but have the entertainment marketing experience which would certainly be an asset to your needs. In my opinion, the ideal candidate for such a position is an individual with both the skills suitable for an entertainment-targeted office and the passion for the industry. One goes hand-in-hand with the other and I can certainly assure you that I have BOTH.

I have an extensive amount office and marketing/PR experience in the entertainment/music industry which would find to be beneficial to a suitable organization. I terminated my position as a Marketing Rep for Akoo International (a music media platform company), in charge of field marketing reports in the Cleveland Market; in order to move to Los Angeles to further my career (in September 09). Previously I was the Communications Director at Ante Up Audio, a professional recording studio, and fronted the marketing, public relations, and client relation fronts. In the past I have worked for Filter Music Media and Marketing (Los Angeles, CA) as the National Representative for the Northern Ohio market. This entailed such responsibilities as "field runs" (marketing materials distributed in select neighborhoods) and "tour promotions" involving attending Filter events and backstage activities. Additionally, I helped Filter connect with businesses in the Northern Ohio market, which were added to Filter's "lifestyle accounts"; clients with whom Filter works regularly through marketing or events. In the past I have also held such music industry jobs as the Manager of Promotions and Business Development for an entertainment company and a sales rep for a leading concert merch company.

The key to success is a varied background in the entertainment industry in combination with the skills necessary. I have multi-faceted experience in the music industry which brings a strong level of expertise to my work performed.
